It's that time again...........

Once again it is time for Parent/Teacher conferences. We went to Kylee's last night with the hopes of hearing that our little girl is a great student who doesn't talk out of turn, listens and does what she is told. What we heard was so much better! Her teacher just couldn't stop smiling as she described what a joy Ky was to have in class. She does well with everything she is learning and handles the class curriculum like a champ. She is nice to everyone and wants to be everyones friend.

The school is introducing typing class to the second graders this year, they are learning the proper finger placement and what not. Miss Nef (Ky's teacher) said that Kylee was the only student in her class that could sit and type with out moving her hands off the "home keys". Her typing teacher was very impressed! Yay Kylee!!!!

Kylee also picked up my love for reading and recently brought home a chapter book. She started reading it on the bus ride home and finished it that night. 10 chapters and my 7 year old finished it in one day and could tell you what the book was about! She cracked me up as she finished her book, she comes in and says "Mom, I ams soooooo proud of myself" I say "How come babe?", then she says "Cause I finished a WHOLE chapter book in one day!" Oh, how I love to see her so excited about reading and school.

Well that's my little update on our little girl, I only hope she know's how proud of her we are! Words can only say so much. We love you and are so proud of you Monkey! Keep up the good work!
