Day 8-A Moment

Well being that I am 30, I do have a lot of moments! So I had to sit and think for a while on this one, and I think I'm going to choose the moment that Casey and I found out we were pregnant with Brayden. Those of you that have known Casey for a while will understand how important this was to us.  While we were planning our wedding, I told Casey that I wanted to get started right away trying for a baby, I didn't want wait to long, I was already 28 soon to be 29! So we started trying in November and by my birthday in December (14th) I was sure I was pregnant, went to the doctor and they told me "no, you are not pregnant". I was so bummed, cause I was certain I was pregnant. Casey and I were both worried that because of the Chemo he had to do, that we would not be able to get pregnant. But by New Years eve I still hadn't started my period so we bought a home pregnancy test with 3 tests, took 1 that night and it came back positive, took the 2nd one the next day and positive again. Then we waited 1 week and took the 3rd and it was still positive so I made an appointment with my doctor! I just remember walking out to the living room and looking at him and almost crying. That's the moment I remember.
