So Casey and I took Kylee into the dentist on Monday for a routine check-up, well it seems that the dentist I was using in Mesquite for Kylee, has done more damage to her teeth than he did to fix them! We have to take her back in on the 2nd of March, when they will sedate her (and yes I'm freaking out a little about that!) so that they can remove the abscessed tooth, caused by the cap the former dentist put on, plus put a spacer there so her molar doesn't move due to that tooth being gone. Then they will put a cap on another of her back teeth on the other side of her mouth, plus small fillings (on teeth that were "fixed" by the previous dentist). We have to have her there by 7:30am and neither of us are allowed with her after they start the sedation process. We have to wait in the "wake-up" room. I think I'm more worried, because I've never not been with her when she is having work of any kind done.
At least the medicine they give her will make it so she won't remember a thing, so that is good. She gets Valium and Demorahl (sure I messed the spellings) and another drug that I can't remember. I know she will be fine, but I'm a mom so of course I'm going to worry!
