Day 6-My Husband

 My husband is by far the best man I have ever met, dated, etc. He is my friend, lover and father of our beautiful children.

Casey and I met through an online dating service. I know I know, people always look at us like, "really and you expect it to last", but we did it the right way I'm sure of it. At first we emailed for a few weeks, then phone numbers were exchanged and we would talk and text each other. Then Kylee and I were in St. George going school shopping for her Kindergarten year and invited Casey to lunch at Pizza Hut. This was the first time we would actually meet in person, we were both really nervous but it turned out great. That was also the first time he would meet Ky and then wouldn't see her again for a few months. I didn't want to have her get attached to him and then not have things work out, so we just waited to bring her around til we got to know each other a bit more.

Things moved pretty quickly for Casey and I, I wasn't seeing anyone else when we first started dating and actually took my profile off the website we met through. I think I knew from our first date that I was ment to be with him. When we would talk at the beginning of our relationship, he would tell me that he wasn't romantic, so not to expect flowers and that he would never, ever touch my feet so don't even ask! Well I got flowers for my birthday and every now and again, without thinking, he would rub my feet when we were sitting on the couch watching TV. I knew I had him then! By Thanksgiving we both were in Love and in April of 08 he proposed to me on a hike through Zion National Park. It was so perfect!

We were married on October 10, 2008 and are still just as much in love as we were in the beginning. I'm so lucky to be married to a man that loves me, makes me laugh on a daily basis and takes such good care of his family.
