The boy

If you have T.V., you've probably seen the commercials for Sour Patch Kid candies. Well I have a real life Sour Patch Kid. His name is Brayden.

I swear this kid is ALL boy, he is so mean, but then can be so sweet. If you don't believe me, let me tell you a few stories.

Kylee has a kitchen that she doesn't play with anymore so we've given it to Brayden to play with. Said kitchen has metal pots and pans that go with it (who ever came up with metal kitchen utensils  for kids must not have toddlers!). One day, Brayden and Kylee are sitting in the living room playing, Brayden was walking around with one of the metal cooking pans, all of a sudden we hear "WHACK, WHACK" and Kylee's sobs! Brayden and tagged her in the back of the head, not once, but twice. As soon as he does it, he drops the pans and gives her hugs.

He also thinks it's funny to head butt, he hasn't done it to me yet, but Casey's gotten it a couple of times. And the same thing happens, as soon as he does the mean thing he will give you loves.

On another note, this little boy has such a personality! Casey and I talk about all the phones calls we are going to be getting when he gets into school. I would be surprised if we weren't on a 1st name basis with the principal by the second week of school!

I see our son being the class clown, someone who will do anything to get a laugh! I also see him as the kid that will try to make you feel better if you are having an off day. He loves to make us laugh and does such random things.

He has also become quite the little copy cat, he will make faces at us, or repeat the hand gestures we do. He is starting to talk a little more, it might be cause we want to hear words instead of "grunts", but there are some definite words in there. He sings 'blues clues' when it comes on and if he hears or sees anything SpongeBob, he says "oooooooo" from the opening song on the show.

He is such a character and I love him so much, I can't even remember what it was like before him. Our family is truly blessed to have this mean/sweet, silly, little man in our lives.
