HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
So last night we said goodbye to 2010 and welcomed in 2011. I have high hopes for this year, not that 2010 was so terribly bad, but I'd really like this year to be better. I don't do resolutions because those are made and meant to be broken, so I have some goals I'd like to set and hit this year.
1. Start and finish school (I'm on track to start 1/17/11 and finish 12/30/11)
2. Hit my goal weight (I am already down 20 lbs, that's a good start!)
3. Find a good job
Those are the 3 most important goals right now, I'm sure I'll come up with more, but those will do for now.
We spent the last 5 days up in Tooele county with Casey's family. It was so nice to be able to see Jennie and Calee before they head back to Hawaii, can't wait till February!! We are planning a trip to see them for Casey's birthday, hope that works out for us! My only complaint while being there was that it was toooo friggin cold and all the dang snow!!
We left Tooele about 1pm on New years eve and got home about 6:30, I can't tell you how happy the kids were to be home. When we walked into the living room, Brayden saw his toys and did a little dance of joy, it was so cute. We kept teasing Kylee that she wouldn't make it till 12, she was confident that she could so she bet us her allowance that she would be up at 12. Well, then she got worried that she might fall asleep so we told her that if she made it till 11pm we would pay her half of her allowance, that was at 10:40pm, this picture was taken at 10:48pm.
Needless to say, she did not win her bet. At 12 St. George set off a great fireworks show, only problem was that they set them off on the hill right above our house. It sounded like they were right in our back yard, our bedroom window shook with every boom!
Hope everyone had a great and safe New Years Ever and we hope that 2011 is a great year for all!
